Financial support

We can offer a limited number of fee waivers and travel scholarships to support participation in the conference based on a needs assessment. Priority will be given to early career researchers as well as those without any insitutional funding, in precarious and/or part-time employment and/or with low income. We would ask you to NOT apply if you can secure funds from elsewhere, so that our limited funds can serve best those in need.

Please fill out the form below if you want to make an application for financial support. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2025. Please note: Applicants who fulfill the criteria of need but could not be given a scholarship and/or fee waiver due to our limited funding capacity will be able to register for the conference at the Early Bird rate until July 20th. Details and appropriate links for registration will be made available within two weeks after the application deadline to those concerned.

Visa required

EU Citizenship: If you are a EU citizen, you do not need a visa for Austria. If you have a valid visa in another EU country, you must take the visa and your passport with you on your trip to Austria.

Non EU Cititzenship: If you don't have EU citizenship, you may need to obtain a Schengen visa from an Austrian embassy in your home country or, if there is no embassy in your country, from a local Schengen embassy.
