Participation fees

The following services are included in the registration fee:

  • Participation in lectures
  • Conference dinner 18 Feb 2026
  • Poster sessions on 19 and 20 Feb 2026
  • PubQuiz event
  • Excursion to historic KLF
  • Bus transportation to lunch venue, conference dinner and excursion
  • Coffee breaks
Registration ends on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 5 p.m. 
Registration is limited to 120 participants.

Confirmation  

After successful registration you will receive a registration confirmation by e-mail.

Payment

When registering, you have the option of choosing online card payment (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX). 

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations received by 1 Feb 2026 will receive a 100% refund of the fee paid.
Cancellations received after 1 Feb 2026 will not be refunded. You will also not receive a refund if you do not attend the event and have not canceled in time.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the Event Management Office of the University of Vienna (email: congress@univie.ac.at).

Congress participant cancellation insurance

To save you trouble and financial disadvantages, we recommend that you take out congress cancellation insurance from European Travel Insurance. Further information can be found website of the European Travel Insurance.

Photographs / Video Recording

Parts of the conference may be photographed. The images may be used to promote the ‘Annual Meeting of the Ethologische Gesellschaft’ on the conference website. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographers during the event.
