Where can I park my car?

Is there free WiFi available at the venue? 

The University of Vienna is a member of eduroam. Eduroam is available in all rooms at the conference venue. For attendees who are unable to connect to eduroam, individual WiFi access codes will be available from the registration desk.

Where is the nearest ATM?

The nearest ATM is in the basement of the Main Building of the University of Vienna (see map below).


Can I print my poster at the venue? 

There is no printing service provided to partipants who attend in person. However, there are printshops nearby, such as: 

Online participants will be offered a printing service (at a cost).

Can I drink the tap water? 

The Viennese population is supplied with spring water from the Northern Calcareous Alps. The "Alpine" tap water is very high quality, low in nitrogen, has no measurable pesticide residues and tastes as good as any mineral water.

Registration

My Log In doesn't work. What could be the reason?

As an employee of the University of Vienna please noteThis is not your u:account, which is why the login does not work with your u:account password. Please create a new account. Your u:account will not be affected.

Is a registration for groups possible?

Due to the individual queries, group registration is unfortunately not possible online.
If you would like to register several participants, please register all of them individually, 
one after the other.

ATTENTION: Please do not forget to log out the last person before continuing with the next person's account.

Do I have to register for free program items?

For organizational reasons, registration for all free programme items requested in the registration form is mandatory.

How can I change my existing registration?

Changes or cancelations must be sent in writing to the congress office (e-mail: congress@univie.ac.at or fax +43 1 4277-17699).

Please do not register again but send us your change requests. We will make these changes for you and send you a new confirmation.

How can I cancel my existing registration?

Cancellations must be sent in writing to the Congress Office (e-mail: congress@univie.ac.at or fax +43 1 4277-17699).

Please note the cancellation conditions of the respective event. These can be found below the congress fees on the website as well as on your registration confirmation.


Invitation Letter

Do I need an Invitation Letter?

Traveling from the EU:

If you are an EU citizen, you do not need a visa for Austria. If you have a valid visa in another EU country, you must take the visa and your passport with you on your trip to Austria.

Traveling from outside the EU:

If you are traveling from outside the EU, you may need to obtain a Schengen visa from an Austrian embassy in your home country or if there is no embassy in your country from a local Schengen embassy.

How can I apply for an Invitation Letter?

Please send an e-mail with the subject "Invitation Letter: SAA 2026" with the following information to saa2026@univie.ac.at:

  • Name (as stated on passport)your address
  • Date and place of birth
  • Passport number
  • Planned arrival and departure
  • Registration number
ATTENTION: We can only issue an Invitation Letter for registered participants! 
Please register first before applying for an Invitation Letter.

Can I apply for an invitation letter for my accompanying person(s)?

Unfortunately, we are only able to issue invitation letters to registered conference participants, but not accompanying persons.


Travel Grants

Are there Travel Grants for this conference?

Travel grants for early career members of the Society for Ambulatory Assessment will be advertised on the society’s website closer to the conference. Please visit https://ambulatory-assessment.org/ for more information.
