Location
Where can I park my car?
The nearest garage is the Votivpark-Garage. Please find more information here.
Is there Free-WLAN available at the venue?
Free WLAN access is available at the entire venue. You will receive your individual access code at the registration desk.
Where is the nearest ATM?
The nearest ATM is in the basement of the Main Building of the University of Vienna (see map below).
Can I print out my poster at the venue?
No, it is not possible to print out your poster at the venue. But you can print out here:
Can I drink the tap water?
The Viennese population is supplied with spring water from the Northern Calcareous Alps. The "Alpine" tap water is very high quality, low in nitrogen, has no measurable pesticide residues and tastes as good as any mineral water. So, you need have few worries at all about drinking or using the tap water.

Hotel
How do I do a Group-booking?
Due to the individual queries, group hotel booking is unfortunately not possible online.
If you would like to book several hotel rooms, please book all of them individually, one after the other.
How can I change my existing hotel booking?
Changes or cancellations must be sent in writing to the congress office (e-mail: congress@univie.ac.at).
Please send us your change requests. We will make them for you and send you a new confirmation.
Why doesn't the hotel have any information about my booking?
We have pre-reserved contingents in various hotels for congress participants. You can book these directly online at special rates.Please note that we collect the hotel bookings and send them to the hotel approximately one month before the start of the event.Should you wish to change your booking or arrive or depart on other days, please contact us directly: congress@univie.ac.at
Until when can I cancel my hotel booking free of charge?
Cancellation free of charge is possible after booking up to 14 days before arrival.
The cancellation conditions and general terms and conditions of the respective hotel apply!

Registration
My Log In doesn't work. What could be the reason?
As an employee of the University of Vienna please note: This is not your u:account, which is why the login does not work with your u:account password. Please create a new account. Your u:account will not be affected.
Is a registration for groups possible?
Due to the individual queries, group registration is unfortunately not possible online.
If you would like to register several participants, please register all of them individually, one after the other.
ATTENTION: Please do not forget to log out the last person before continuing with the next person's account.
Do I have to register for free program items?
For organizational reasons, registration for all free programme items requested in the registration mask is mandatory.
I have inadvertently selected "Bank transfer" instead of "Credit card payment". Can I still pay online by credit card?
No problem. You will receive an invoice containing a link for subsequent online card payment. If you would like to make an online credit card payment, please click on the link in the invoice and follow the instructions described therein.
How can I change my existing registration?

How can I cancel my existing registration?
Cancellations must be sent in writing to the Congress Office (e-mail: congress@univie.ac.at).
Please note the cancellation conditions of the respective event. These can be found below the congress fees on the website as well as on your registration confirmation.
Travelling
Why is the Star Alliance code not working for my flight route?
The discount is only valid within the specified period and for Star Alliance flights.
Please check whether your flights are exclusively Star Alliance flights. Unfortunately, the discount cannot be applied to a combination of Star Alliance flights and other airlines.
Invitation Letter
Do I need an Invitation Letter?
Traveling from the EU:
If you are an EU citizen, you do not need a visa for Austria. If you have a valid visa in another EU country, you must take the visa and your passport with you on your trip to Austria.
Traveling from outside the EU:
If you are traveling from outside the EU, you may need to obtain a Schengen visa from an Austrian embassy in your home country or if there is no embassy in your country from a local Schengen embassy.

How can I apply for an Invitation Letter?
Please send an e-mail with the subject "Invitation Letter: Conference of the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID)" with the following information to congress@univie.ac.at:
- Name (as stated on passport)your address
- Date and place of birth
- Passport number
- Planned arrival and departure
- Registration number
Please register first before applying for an Invitation Letter.
Can I apply for an invitation letter for my accompanying person(s)?
Please note that we can only issue an invitation letter for registered accompanying persons.
If registration for accompanying persons is not possible, we are unfortunately unable to issue an Invitation Letter.
If registration for accompanying persons is possible, please send us an e-mail with the subject "Invitation Letter Conference of the International Society for the Study of Individual Differences (ISSID)" with the following information of the accompanying person(s) to congress@univie.ac.at:

Travel Grants
Are there Travel Grants for this conference?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer travel grants or registration fee waivers for this conference.
